Celebrity Couples Who Filed To Divorce: Rachel Lindsay & Bryan Abasolo
As The Shade Room previously reported, Bryan Abasolo filed for divorce from the first Black ‘Bachelorette‘ Rachel Lindsay on January 2. At the time, the pair had been married for four years after meeting on the aforementioned show in 2017.
Furthermore, Abasolo reportedly listed their date of separation as December 31, 2023, and the cause of their split as irreconcilable differences.
In July, a judge reportedly ordered Lindsay to begin temporary spousal support payments to Abasolo. Meanwhile, amid their divorce proceedings, Abasolo has shared her regret and urged the public to sign prenuptial agreements amid tying the knot.
Lisa Bonet & Jason Momoa
In January, Lisa Bonet also officially filed to divorce Jason Momoa, per The Shade Room. Furthermore, Bonet’s official filing arrived two years after the pair initially announced their separation.
In her filing, Bonet reportedly listed her and Momoa’s date of separation as October 7, 2020. Additionally, she asserted that neither she nor Momoa planned to seek spousal support and had already agreed on the separation of their property and assets.
Lastly, Bonet’s filing reportedly asserted that she and Momoa were seeking “joint physical and legal custody” of their two children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.
Anderson .Paak & Jae Lin
As The Shade Room previously reported, Anderson .Paak filed for divorce from his wife of over a decade, Jae Lin, in January. At the time, documents reportedly asserted that the former couple wanted to share custody of their two sons. Additionally, .Paak did not reportedly list the date of his and Lin’s separation.

Bobbi Althoff & Cory Althoff
In February, Cory Althoff reportedly filed for divorce from Bobbi, per The Shade Room. At the time, the pair had reportedly been married for three years. However, court documents obtained by The Blast reportedly asserted that Cory and Bobbi had been separated since July 2023.

Ray J & Princess Love
That same month, Ray J and Princess Love turned heads when they revealed their decision to get a divorce — for the fourth time! As The Shade Room previously reported, Love revealed her and Ray’s decision via Instagram.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce. After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways,” she wrote in part at the time.

Two months later, Ray reportedly responded to Love’s divorce filing, requesting that he and his estranged wife share custody of their two children, per The Shade Room.

Porsha Williams & Simon Guobadia
As The Shade Room previously reported, later in February, Porsha Williams reportedly filed for divorce from Simon Guobadia after 15 months of marriage.

Furthermore, in March, Williams revealed that her decision to split from Guobadia was prompted by reports about his “questionable” immigration status and alleged criminal history.
“By way of further response, the media frenzy that ensued… included revelations about Husband’s criminal history, questionable immigration, and allegations of fraud. Wife shows that the news reports of Husband’s alleged immigration fraud, and what appeared to be an imminent threat of deportation, were shocking and affected Wife’s mental and emotional wellbeing,” Williams’ legal team reportedly explained in a subsequent filing.

Additionally, the filing reported noted that Williams explained her decision to Guobadia in a text message.
“… There is nothing in this world that would have told me i would have to divorce you or that i would even contemplate leaving you even for a day. However what is between us rocks our foundation to the core,” she reportedly wrote.

Chelsea Lazkani & Jeff Lazkani
In March, Chelsea Lazkani of ‘Selling Sunset’ filed for divorce from her husband, Jeff, after 7 years of marriage, per The Shade Room. At the time, Lazkani reportedly listed the reason for their split as “irreconcilable differences.”
Additionally, she reportedly requested spousal support, and joint custody of her and Jeff’s two children.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard & Ryan Scott Anderson
In April, Gypsy Rose Blanchard filed for divorce from Ryan Scott Anderson two weeks after publicly announcing their separation, per The Shade Room. In her announcement, Rose reportedly explained that she needed “time” to “find” herself.
Later that month, more details surfaced revealing that Rose and Blanchard had begun living separately on March 25, per The Shade Room. Additionally, it was also reportedly revealed that Rose listed herself as not being at fault for her and Anderson’s split.

According to Page Six, Rose and Anderson settled their divorce proceedings on Monday, December 9. Both parties reportedly opted out of spousal support. However, TMZ notes that a judge has yet to sign off on their agreement.

Tory Lanez & Raina Chassagne
As The Shade Room previously reported, in June, Raina Chassagne filed for divorce from Tory Lanez. Per TMZ, the pair had reportedly tied the knot on June 25, 2023. Additionally, Chassagne listed the cause of their split as irreconcilable differences.
The pair share a seven-year-old son and reportedly, Chassagne requested legal and physical custody of the child.

In August, former NFL player Bobby McCray filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years, Khadijah Haqq, per The Shade Room. Additionally, McCray reportedly requested spousal support from Haqq, noting his disapproval of her receiving the same.
Lastly, McCray listed his and Haqq’s date of separation as July 7, 2023, noting they split due to irreconcilable differences.

That same month, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, per The Shade Room. At the time, it was reported that Lopez made the filing on the second anniversary of her and Affleck’s second wedding ceremony.
Lastly, Lopez listed her and Affleck’s date of separation as April 26, 2024, while noting their prenuptial agreement and shared disinterest in spousal support.

In August, Judge Greg Mathis’ wife, Linda Reese, reportedly filed for divorce amid their 39-year union. As The Shade Room previously reported, Reese made her filing on August 22 and listed their separation date as July 17.
Furthermore, Reese also cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of their split.
Since then, however, the pair appear to be rekindling their romance and saving their union.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Kirsten Corley reportedly filed for divorce from Chance The Rapper on Friday, December 13. The outlet noted that the pair had been married for five years. Additionally, the update arrived months after the pair shared a joint statement in April revealing their separation.
Per TMZ, Corley’s filing reportedly cited irreconcilable differences and noted that she’s seeking child support for their two children.
