The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is reportedly offering a $100,000 reward for the gunman who fatally shot Charlie Kirk while also releasing photos of a “person of interest.”

FBI Releases Photos Of Suspected Gunman Who Fatally Shot Charlie Kirk
According to Newsweek, the FBI released the images of the “person of interest” on Thursday, September 11. Additionally, the agency is requesting the public’s help in identifying the male pictured. Furthermore, photos show a white male wearing a dark colored cap, sunglasses, and a long-sleeve dark-colored shirt. Additionally, the shot was adorned with an American flag graphic, and the person also wore jeans and sneakers.

At this time, authorities have reportedly confiscated a “high-powered bolt-action rifle,” the weapon apparently used by the gunman. Additionally, they believe the incident was targeted against Charlie Kirk. And suspect that the gunman will not be a threat to the public.

At this time, authorities have not released the exact identity of the “person of interest” or the suspect gunman. However, Utah Department of Public Safety Commissioner Beau Mason has shared that the suspect is believed to be of “college age” and “blended in well” with the rally environment of Utah Valley University. Per CNN, dispatch audio asserts that the shooter was wearing “all black, black long gun, black tactical helmet, a black mask, possibly wearing a tactical vest and jeans.”
Shortly after sharing the images of the “person of interest,” the FBI announced that it is offering a reward for the gunman’s identification and subsequent arrest.

As The Shade Room previously reported, Charlie Kirk, the founder of right-wing advocacy group Turning Point USA, appeared at a rally at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, September 10. While speaking to a crowd, Kirk was shot in the neck by a bullet. In the hours that followed, Kirk succumbed to his injuries.
