From dragging Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry over that ‘Precious’ fallout that cost her millions, to spilling the tea on telling hubby Sidney Hicks she craved intimacy with women, her unapologetic ways always leave social media GAGGED and scrolling for days. Mo’Nique Comes For Tyler Perry And Oprah Winfrey

Mo’Nique was giving unfiltered realness on her ongoing feud with Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey! On the ‘Outlaws’ podcast with TS Madison (August 19), the comedy icon went in, blaming them for tanking her career. She’s been vocal for years about her beef with Perry and Winfrey. But this time, she doubled down, accusing them of derailing her career for over a decade.

It started with 2009’s ‘Precious,’ her Oscar-winning role. But when Perry and Oprah wanted free Cannes promo, she demanded pay, sparking “difficult” rumors. “One of the biggest entertainers in the world is Tyler Perry, and Tyler Perry told a lie on me, and that lie cost me 12 years of my career,” she said. Blackballed, millions allegedly lost, and above it all, Oprah and Tyler have never publicly addressed the matter. Chile, Mo’Nique even roasted them on ‘Club Shay Shay’ in 2024, as well as on Katt Williams‘ tour, and wants apologies like Lee Daniels’ in 2022.

She Gave Shannon Sharpe Dating Advice He Apparently Didn’t Take

A clip from Mo’Nique’s February 2024 sit-down on ‘Club Shay Shay’ blew up after Shannon Sharpe found himself in hot water earlier this year. Chile, auntie didn’t hold back when she dished dating advice to the former NFL star, warning him to quit chasing them young thangs. “You better take your old a** and get somebody to love you,” Mo’Nique told him with her no-filter attitude.
“You don’t need no 26-year-old girl, you don’t need no 36-year-old girl… Get you an old b*tch out there that can love you old. You trying to hang out with these young b*tches, you can’t do it, Shannon!”
Well, Shannon apparently didn’t listen and ended up settling a lawsuit filed with his former fling, Gabriella Zuniga, who accused him of sexual assault. Soon after the settlement was announced, Shannon was fired from ESPN.

Mo'Nique Speaks On Tension With Steve Harvey

Mo’Nique just clocked her “brother” Steve Harvey on the real origins of their messy beef, and whew, it’s all about that money talk. As y’all know, Mo’Nique once dragged Steve for allegedly swiping jokes from Mark Curry, but she kept it cute and skipped pressing the issue that time.
Flashback to 2019… Mo and her hubby/manager, Sidney Hicks, were this close to landing their own show with Steve’s producers. But she says the energy flipped when execs started spilling Steve’s pay to the couple uninvited. Sidney shut it DOWN quick: “My wife sees him as family, and he’s my Omega Psi Phi frat bro—we don’t play like that!”
Producers snitched to Steve anyway, but he allegedly brushed it off: “My frat brothers get fanatical sometimes, I’ll handle it.” Then boom—on his show, Steve hits Mo with, “Your husband can’t be out here flexin’ like he do. He can’t be who he is when he come out here.” Sidney even accused Steve of tallying Black folks in his audience to dodge sponsor backlash, allegedly saying, “I’m not gonna let these n****s mess it up for me.” Mo wrapped it with a loving gut punch: “Brother, you’re family… stop oppressing yourself for a check. It won’t last.”

Mo'Nique Admitted To Wanting Intimacy With Women

Auntie’s Netflix special ‘My Name Is Mo’Nique’ was gag-worthy, to say the least. Mo’Nique spilled on how she finally confessed her cravings for intimacy with women to her husband.  “I was so scared,” she admitted, heart pounding like it was her first open mic. Turns out, it was the first time she said it out loud to anyone. But nobody could’ve prepared her for her man’s reaction.“B*tch, me too!” she recalled him saying. The pair has been together for two decades, so it seems they were both open to the idea of exploring different ways in which they can keep their marriage spicy. Go ‘head, then, Mo.

She Grew Out Of Having An Open Marriage

Open marriage ain’t for everyone! Mo’Nique has always kept it honest about her love life, and in 2023, she revealed why she changed her mind on inviting other people into the bedroom. In her sit-down with The Hollywood Reporter, the queen comedian got candid, admitting she straight-up “grew out” of the arrangement ‘cause nothing beats the real deal with her ride-or-die. “Life began to happen. I began to see a strength I had never seen before. He loved me at my worst. I didn’t want to sacrifice that just for a lay,” she shared, shading those side quests like they ain’t worth it in the long run.
