Roommates, we’re four weeks into Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ federal trial as of Monday, June 2. As a reminder, the hip hop icon has pleaded not guilty to multiple counts of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. In the last three weeks, the prosecution has presented strong witnesses, from ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura to her mother Regina and rapper Kid Cudi. Multiple former employees, from Capricorn Clark to George Kaplan, have testified to “freak-off” preparations and witnessing violence. At times, Diddy’s team has ensured witnesses shared the “good” and “highs” of working for the controversial mogul.

Diddy Trial Week Three Recap
Need a refresher on week three in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial? Click the link below to see what key witnesses shared on the stand, including a former employee who spoke under the pseudonym “Mia.” She was the second of three witnesses in total who have and will testify about Diddy allegedly sexually assaulting them. The first was Cassie during week one of the trial. In addition to revealing the alleged sporadic sexual attacks, Mia also spoke about her fear of calling 911 and the violence against her and Cassie.
Also, the prosecution revealed they are still ahead of schedule in presenting their case. They anticipate being done with calling witnesses in mid-June, per the Associated Press. Meanwhile, Diddy’s defense in the trial said the opposite. Lead Attorney Marc Agnifilo blamed their presentation possibly being longer than expected on the prosecution’s “fairly substantial changes,” particularly to witnesses they’re not calling. Agnifilo anticipated the trial might leak into July.
Outside the courthouse, Cassie welcomed her third child with husband Alex Fine. She testified about her on-and-off relationship with Diddy in her third trimester for four days. Need a play-by-play of week three’s proceedings? Click the link below for all the details.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 14: Defense Calls Out Mia's Texts To Diddy After Her Employment
Next, the defense brought up texts shared between Mia and Diddy. In 2018, for Christmas, Mia texted Diddy, “Merry Christmas love you so so much.” Furthermore, the text was shared a month after Kim Porter’s passing.
In January 2019, Mia texted Diddy again, noting that she dreamt she was trapped in an elevator with R. Kelly, and Diddy saved her.
In March of that year, she sent him another text, noting that she was sending “all the love in the world.”
Steel questioned Mia about whether she was under Diddy’s control or influence at the time, since the texts were shared after her tenure of employment with him.
“Psychologically,” she said before stating. “Also, Puff used to be my protector… Also, these were based around tragic events that happened in his life.”
In December 2019, Mia reportedly Diddy texted on Kim Porter’s birthday, noting that she was sending love to him and his family.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 14: Mia Was Reportedly Instructed To Film Diddy's Day-To-Day, Doubles Down On Not Recording Alleged Abuse
Mia testified that she was instructed to film Diddy’s day-to-day with a pocket camera. This, reportedly, before he hired a full-time videographer. When asked if she captured any moments of being berated by Diddy, she denied.
“Absolutely not. No, I would not have been allowed to film that. I was filming whatever he wanted me to film,” she said, noting that if she captured those moments, it would’ve been a “huge break of trust, loyalty and confidentiality.”
In turn, Steel asked, “Do you have anything where you contemporaneously wrote to a friend, family member, police officer, anybody, and said this is what’s going on, I’m being assaulted, berated, anything?”
Mia responded, noting that she had only informed other employees of the instances.
“No, the only time I reached out for help was very subtly to people in the office, but not disclosing things that other people hadn’t witnessed. No, I would never… [But] nobody around batted an eye,” she said. “I was always constantly seeking his approval. He was my authority figure, my only authority figure.”

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 14: Mia Reiterates Diddy's Threat To Inform Cassie Of Their Sexual Interaction
During the continued cross, Mia reiterated Diddy’s repeated threats to inform Cassie of their sexual encounters.
“Nobody acted like what was happening to me was wrong, and his threats about that he was going to tell Cassie about what happened made me internalize blame and shame,” she said.
When asked why she didn’t want Diddy to inform Cassie of the encounters, Mia reiterated that Diddy planned to paint a picture as if she was complicit in the interactions.
“He threatened to tell Cassie quote unquote ‘everything,’ which made me feel like I had done something wrong. I don’t know how to explain what that does to a person,” she said.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 14: Jury Is Shown Video Mia Made For Diddy's 44th Birthday
The jury then saw a video Mia made for Diddy in celebration of his 44th birthday. In the clip, Mia is seen sitting at a desk. Additionally, she tells the mogul that she’s blessed to call him a friend and he is “one of the biggest inspirations” in her life.
“I love you, happy birthday,” she said, blowing a kiss.
The judge reportedly allowed the footage to be shown despite objections from the prosecution. Meanwhile, the defense believes the clip supports their argument that Mia is presenting a “false persona” to the court.
Steel asked Mia if she was telling the truth when she previously stated that Diddy sexually assaulted her, after he presented text message evidence of Mia showing love to Diddy. Mia stated she was “brainwashed,” and was always seeking Diddy’s approval.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 14: Mia Says Diddy Put Tracking Devices On Cassie's Car, Talks Their Relationship
After a short break, court resumed with Mia sharing that Diddy put tracking devices on Cassie’s vehicle. This came up amid Mia sharing that she was scared of Diddy learning about her private correspondence with Cassie.
“He has stolen my phone many times, he has stolen Cassie’s phone many times, he has put tracking devices on her car,” she said. “I’m not sure what he’s capable of. I was terrified.”
Additionally, Mia shared that she was very close to Cassie. However, she wasn’t permitted to tell the singer “the truth about a lot of things.”
“Whatever story Puff (Combs) told me I had to uphold that,” she said. “One of the worst parts was being put in the middle and having to cover up for Puff to Cass, which he forced me to do constantly.”
If she denied covering up for Diddy, she said he would’ve separated her from Cassie. Additionally, she noted telling Cassie she should’ve left Diddy. However, she never got to say it “in the way [she] wish[es] [she] could have.”

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 14: Re-Direct Begins On Mia, Circling Back To Social Media Posts & Firing Threats
At this point, Prosecutor Madison Smyser resumed re-direct examination of Mia. Mia reiterated that the aforementioned social media posts were examples of her doing her job. If Diddy deemed she wasn’t doing her job, and doing it correctly, she “would be screamed at, humiliated, made fun of, and [her] job would be threatened,” she said.
Referencing the birthday scrapbook, the prosecutor asked why Mia wanted to keep Diddy “happy.”
“Because when he was happy, I was safe,” Mia said.
Additionally, Mia explained how HR allegedly retaliated to her minimal reporting about Diddy’s behavior.
“Human resources only punished me unjustly, also fired Kayla for even discussing Cassie’s abuse. They wouldn’t have believed me and I would’ve been fired immediately,” she said. “… I would be wiped out, I would be abused, fired, and somehow made out to look like I was, I was a crazy person making everything up.”

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Eddy Garcia, Former Hotel Security, Talks About 2016 Beating Video
Testimony on June 3 began with Eddy Garcia , who formerly worked for the InterContinental Hotel, the same one where surveillance footage captured Diddy attacking Cassie. Eddy and Israel Florez are still friends, but no longer work together. Eddy Garcia said that he learned of Florez’s testimony via TikTok, but confirmed they have not spoken about their testimonies.
For context, Florez was the trial’s first witness. The former security guard testified that Diddy attempted to bribe him to keep quiet about the hallway attack. He also admitted to taking a video of the surveillance footage to show his wife, but rejected Combs’ cash offer.
On the day of the incident, March 5, Eddy Garcia said he clocked in at 2 p.m. By then, someone told him that there had been a domestic dispute. He said he didn’t know the couple was Diddy and Cassie until later. Garcia also testified that hotel security probably did not call law enforcement because Cassie “did not request the presence of police or medical attention.”

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Eddy Garcia Says Diddy's Assistant Repeatedly Requested To See 2016 Assault Footage
Garcia testified that he was about 90 minutes into his shift when Diddy’s assistant, Kristina Khorram, called the hotel security desk. She asked him if he was “familiar with the incident” of that day, and asked “if there was any way possible to get a copy of the video or see the video.” Eddy Garcia said he shut the request down, even after she allegedly said that “Mr. Combs had been intoxicated and didn’t remember.”
At that point, Diddy’s defense reportedly objected, and the judge granted it, before a sidebar happened. Garcia continued his testimony, saying that he told Khorram to contact “hotel management or get a subpoena.” Kristina allegedly popped up in the lobby an hour later looking for Garcia. She introduced herself and made the same request, wanting to know “what they were dealing with.” However, Eddy says he gave the assistant the same redirection: management or a judge’s order. Garcia admitted that he told her, “Off the record, it’s bad.”

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Lead Hotel Security Accepts Diddy's $50,000 Offer, Eddy Garcia Delivered Tape
That same day, March 5, 2016, Eddy Garcia says Diddy personally spoke to him about the footage. He said Khorram called the security desk later that night, and passed the phone to Combs, who “sounded very nervous” and was “talking really fast.” The former InterContinental employee said that Diddy admitted to having “a little too much to drink,” and said that the surveillance footage “could ruin him” if it was leaked. Garcia apologized to Combs and reiterated what he told Kristina Khorram: contact management or get a subpoena.
Additionally, he said he documented the three phone calls in an email to his general manager and the head of security. The email also noted that Diddy wanted a meeting over the incident and his concerns about the video.
Later that night, while at home, Garcia said he got another call from Kristina Khorram. The witness added that the call made him “nervous” because he hadn’t shared his personal number with them. Kristina passed the phone to Diddy, who again pleaded with Garcia about how the video could “ruin” him. The former guard said Diddy told him he “sounded like a good guy” who wants to “help.” Garcia said he apologized to Combs and said he didn’t have access to the surveillance footage. However, Diddy allegedly persisted and promised to “take care” of him, which he interpreted as financially.
As for the transaction, Garcia testified that he called his boss, Bill Madrano, who agreed to hand over the video footage for $50,000. He called Khorram back, and Diddy agreed, allegedly saying: “Eddy, my angel, I knew you could help. I knew you could do it.”
Garcia said Madrano was the one who downloaded the video from the servers the next day (March 7) and gave it to him on a thumb drive. Garcia met Diddy that same day at a high-rise building. During the meeting, Garcia testified that Combs was “smiling, excited…happy” and called him “Eddy, my angel.” The former guard said he was nervous, which caused his voice to crack, leading Diddy to order Khorram to bring him tea. Garcia then gave Diddy the thumb drive, and the producer left the room with it before returning to confirm that it was the only copy. He called his boss, who confirmed the drive was the only copy.
Garcia also said Diddy told him not to worry about Cassie reporting the incident to the police because she “wanted the video gone too.” Combs later called a woman Garcia said he believed to be Cassie, and she confirmed what Diddy had said, adding that she had a movie premiere and “wanted this to go away.” It’s worth noting that Combs and Cassie attended the premiere of ‘The Perfect Match’ that same day.

Ultimately, Garcia said he signed an NDA after a conversation with Diddy about how Israel Florez would not be on board with covering up the incident and footage. Florez was a “very by-the-book guy,” Eddy told Combs. The jury was allowed to see photos of the NDA dated March 7, 2016, on a letterhead for Combs’ Companies. Garcia admitted that he signed the documents without reading them thoroughly, including the part about the $1 million penalty if breached.
“I was nervous, I was in a rush to get out of there,” Garcia testified.
Garcia said Diddy used a machine to count $100,000 in front of him, and offered him an opportunity to count it himself. The former guard said he declined and stood to leave, but got nervous when Combs offered to walk him to the lobby. Downstairs, Garcia said Diddy advised him not to make any big purchases with the cash, and then they went their separate ways. Garcia testified that he kept $30,000 of the money, gave $50,000 to his boss, Madrano, and the other $20,000 to another guard, Henry Elias, who worked on March 5. No money was given to Israel Florez.
Eddy Garcia also testified that Diddy reached out to him a few weeks after the March 5, 2016, incident. The hip hop mogul allegedly said: “Happy Easter, Eddy, my angel. God is good, God put you in my way for a reason.”
He said Combs then asked if anyone had inquired about the assault footage. Garcia said no, and the phone call ended after Diddy told him to reach out if he ever needed anything. Eddy said he reached out via Instagram in 2017 or 2018 looking for a job, but Combs never replied.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Eddy Garcia Shares His Reaction To The Assault Footage Surfacing In 2024, Cross Exam. Begins
As previously reported, CNN was the first to release the footage of Diddy kicking, dragging, and throwing a glass vase at Cassie in the InterContinental’s hallway on May 17, 2024. After the tape became public, Eddy Garcia said he contacted Henry Elias and Israel Florez. Reminder that Henry got paid $20,000 to keep the footage on the low, and Israel was the first guard Diddy made a cash offer to, who rejected it.
The following month, law enforcement contacted Eddy, and the former guard said he wasn’t honest about his involvement with the tape. After meeting with them, Garcia said he deleted text messages with Israel and Henry. Later that year, Garcia said he met with prosecutors and his appointed counsel and was truthful about accepting payment. He testified that he has been honest in every meeting with the government since then.
Afterward, cross-examination began with Brian Steel taking the lead. Steel asked Garcia if he “got a good feeling” about Combs after leaving the hotel meet-up, and the former guard agreed. After a few questions about the NDA, Steel concluded cross-examination, but prosecutor Mitzi Steiner jumped in for redirect.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Head Of Finance Derek Ferguson Testifies About Diddy's Expenses
On the stand, Derek Ferguson confirmed that he worked for Diddy from 1998 until 2017. Most of his employment role was as the CFO of Bad Boy Entertainment from 1998 to 2012. His duties involved budgets, accounting, record-keeping, and partnership management, per CNN. At times, he also handled Combs’ personal finances. He and Diddy held the signatory title for the business bank accounts. Also, Ferguson stated that he was testifying after the government subpoenaed him.
When Ferguson started with Combs, he said they interacted “pretty regularly, a couple times a week.” Their interactions lessened as the company grew, but he did report directly to Combs when the company didn’t have a president.
Derek testified that Diddy used to pay for business and personal expenses from “time to time” using his corporate American Express card. He added that his team would then filter the expenditures. Ferguson said cash payments were not unusual during the late 90s and 2000s. He explained that artists would often get paid in cash, and managers sometimes brought the money to the finance department for processing.
Ferguson also said he would meet with Sean Combs to review his personal finances about once a year. In between that time, Ferguson said he was aware that Combs financially supported family and friends through his personal salaries and accounts. However, he said he didn’t know that Combs’ security carried cash for him, and that the finance department also managed properties in the Hamptons, Miami and New York City.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Judge Tells Prosecutors To Put Ban Requests In Writing, Jury Sees Diddy's Bank Records
After lunch, prosecutors asked Judge Arun Subramanian to bar a media outlet and another person who revealed Mia’s identity on external platforms. Prosecution also asked the judge to force a media outlet to remove a social media post about the identity. The judge recommended that the prosecutors put their requests in writing to be considered, including instructions about the upcoming witness, “Jane.” Jane is a pseudonym for another woman who will begin testifying tomorrow.
Additionally, the jury was allowed to see Diddy’s bank statements from December 2011. The statements align with testimony from Casandra Ventura and her mother, Regina, about paying Combs $20,000, which was later returned.
On December 14, Diddy’s account transferred $20K to Cassie. A few days later, on December 23, Diddy’s account received a $20,000 wire transfer from Rodrick Venture, Cassie’s dad. Then, on December 27, Combs’ account returned the money to Rodrick’s account.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Cross-Examination Of Derek Ferguson Begins
Derek Ferguson also resumed the witness stand after the courtroom lunch break. After the ex-finance chief ended his time as CFO in 2012, he served as a chief growth officer before becoming COO of Revolt Media and TV.
Ferguson stopped working for Diddy in November 2017. After that, he claims they rarely spoke. The last time Diddy allegedly reached out was on September 16, 2024. In two text messages, Combs allegedly asked how Derek was doing, requested a phone call, and said he needed some advice while visiting New York City. Ferguson said he didn’t respond because he was on a flight headed to Charlotte, NC, and could not meet.
Prosecutor Christy Slavik ended questioning, and defense attorney Marc Agnifilo began cross-examination. Ferguson testified that he was interested in working with Bad Boy Records for the potential “impact” the company could have. Ferguson is a Bronx native and testified that he saw value in the company hiring from within the community.
Ferguson told Agnifilo that there were ongoing tensions between Diddy and the liquor distributor Diageo over marketing and distribution. Combs was in charge of creative direction throughout their long-term relationship, while Diageo provided funding.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 15: Derek Testifies About Diddy's Finances & Work Ethic
During continued cross-examination, Derek told lead attorney Agnifilo that he would’ve done “everything to not” allow any “financial impropriety” on his watch. He also answered “no” to questions about whether he’d ever seen Diddy or anyone commit acts of violence or a crime, or make the Combs’ company stronger through threats.
Ferguson also said he didn’t witness any enhancements of Combs’ or the company’s reputation from acts of prostitution. Judge Arun sustained the prosecution’s objection to a question about sex trafficking and forced labor.
As the cross-examination progressed, Ferguson described Diddy’s employees as a “very close-knit group,” especially in the beginning, when they worked long hours committed to the “mission to be great.” On the stand, Ferguson said he learned “a lot” from Sean Combs.
“He had a great business mind, and I think he put his mind to something and set a really high, aggressive goal, and was not afraid of that goal, and I think that’s something you can learn from that,” Derek testified.
The former employee said Diddy “worked constantly.” Adding, “His passion for what he did was really high so his work ethic and the number of hours that he put in was something that really pushed the entire team.” When Attorney Agnifilo asked how Derek feels about Diddy today, he responded, “I don’t know how to respond to that.”
Prosecutor Christy Slavik conducted a redirect, and Derek Ferguson’s testimony ended shortly afterward. He will resume the stand on Wednesday, June 4, for day 16 of the trial.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 16: Texts To "G" And Cassie Shown, Then Frank Piazza, A Forensic Video Expert, Takes Stand
Frank Piazza, a forensic audio and video editor, took the stand on Wednesday, June 4. He disclosed that he’s being paid $295 an hour for his work on this case, and he’s reviewed “cell phone video, surveillance footage, and ‘sex videos.'” Among the pieces of evidence, Piazza noted the assault footage from the Intercontinental Hotel, asserting that the footage was “not manually altered.” However, he explained that he slowed the footage to real time due to a “technical file conversion process [that] had inadvertently sped up the video.” At this point, the jury was shown the footage again — CNN notes that they have now seen the clip at least eight times since the trial started.
To note, moments before Piazza took the stand, the jury was shown texts sent from D-Roc to Cassie and a recipient known as “G” in September 2015. D-Roc sent the texts on behalf of Diddy. In the messages to G, he reportedly inquired about their relationship status with Diddy. Meanwhile, in the texts with Cassie, D-Roc had reportedly been told to “stay on top” of the singer.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 16: Frank Piazza's Cross-Examination Beings
Piazza explained that he received the Intercontinental footage from prosecutors. However, he’s unsure of how they obtained the video.
Geragos asks Piazza to recall a prior conversation where he referred to the recording system that the surveillance footage came from as “cheap.” Piazza responded, “in a way” the system was cheap.
— TheShadeRoom (@TheShadeRoom) June 4, 2025
Additionally, Piazza was asked about “jumps” in footage shown to the jury. Previously, it was noted that a compilation of footage from the Intercontinental was shown to the jury. The footage featured separate camera angles, which were separated by black screens. The black screens were intended to signify a jump, or difference, in the camera angles. When asked if the jumps could indicate “missing” or “cut” time in the footage. Piazza denied this, explaining that the hotel’s camera footage does not update based on time but rather on movement, which could signify discrepancies in the noted timestamps.
Piazza and Geragos continue to review the hotel footage. Geragos presses about certain jumps and “missing time,” within the footage. Piazza explains that timestamps are updated with movement in this particular system.

Bryana Bongolan then took the stand for questioning by the prosecution. Bongolan testified that in September 2016, Diddy hung her over a 17-story balcony. Afterward, he allegedly threw her onto patio furniture, and she sustained bruises on the back of her leg, back, and neck pain from the incident.
“I have night terrors and paranoia and scream in my sleep at times,” she said.
Bongolan, who is still friends with Cassie, explained that prior to meeting Diddy, she was hesitant. By the time she did meet Diddy, he and Cassie were a year into their relationship.
“I wasn’t really fond of what I was seeing, so I wasn’t really wanting to meet him,” she told the court, noting she had seen Cassie with a black eye.
Furthermore, she noted that she met Diddy after Cassie “begged” her to.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 16: Bryana Bongolan Testifies To Diddy & Cassie's Relationship, Says They Both Threw Knife At One Another On One Occasion
On one occasion in 2016, Bongolan says she and Cassie went shopping for the day. Amid their outing, Diddy allegedly sent Cassie a list of the places she and Bongolan had been, despite him not being told by them of their whereabouts. Cassie and Bongolan ended their day out by retreating to the singer’s apartment.
Furthermore, after the March 2016 hotel assault, Bongolan says she spoke with Cassie via FaceTime while she was preparing for ‘The Perfect Match’ movie premiere. On the call, Bongolan saw Cassie’s black eye.
“I remember saying ‘I’m sorry,'” she said, noting that there were other instances when she saw bruises on the singer.
On another occasion, Bongolan recalled staying the night at Cassie’s apartment. Diddy reportedly showed up unannounced, banging on the door. He was then let in by Cassie.
“I just remember seeing a knife get thrown in her direction,” Bongolan explained, noting that Cassie allegedly threw it back at him. However, it did not hit him.
She noted that she did not call the cops on Diddy because she was “scared” of him.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 16: Bryana Bongolan Says Diddy Gave Her Drugs & Threatened Her
Per Bongolan, she was given drugs by Diddy “a few times.” She noted seeing him use “marijuana, ketamine, and cocaine.” Additionally, she explained that she and Cassie would do drugs together weekly. Admittedly, she said she and Cassie tried to “do better” and participate in activities such as cooking to curb their drug use. However, those periods would never last.
Furthermore, during another incident in 2016, Bongolan says Diddy threatened her. She and Cassie were reportedly doing a photoshoot when Diddy came up to her and said, “something around the lines of, ‘I’m the devil and I could kill you.'”
She didn’t know what prompted the statement, but said Diddy could’ve been using drugs that day.
“I was terrified, but because of the cocaine, I had a little confidence and just brushed it off,” she added.
When asked why she continued to be around Diddy, Bongolan said she didn’t know.

When the court resumed, Bryana Bongolan returned to the stand. Furthermore, she shared more details about the September 2016 balcony incident. She said that Diddy had shown up at Cassie’s apartment at night, banging on the door. Bongolan was asleep on the couch with her ex-girlfriend. She then hid her ex in a guest bathroom and went to the bathroom to appear “casual.”
“I didn’t want to expose her to things that I see,” Bongolan explained, referring to her ex.
She said she was about to light marijuana when Diddy “basically came up behind” her.
“He lifted me up and then had me on top of the rail,” she said.
Diddy allegedly grabbed her chest, holding her over the rail by her armpits.
“Do you know what the f*ck you did?” he allegedly yelled at her.
After 15 seconds, Diddy allegedly threw her onto patio furniture. Initially, she didn’t realize she was injured. Additionally, she noted hearing talk about her ex-girlfriend being at the location.
“I was shaking a lot,” she recalled.
The jury was then shown photos of Bongolan’s injuries. Days later, Diddy and Bongolan were on a FaceTime call.
“I remember saying a couple times, ‘I don’t want any problems with you,'” she explained, adding that Diddy did not say much in response.
When they saw each other afterward, she allegedly tried to play it “cool” and didn’t report the incident to police out of fear. After the incident, Bongolan says she went to see a chiropractor but didn’t require medical treatment due to the substances in her system numbing her pain.

Bongolan says the last time she saw Diddy and Cassie was for New Year’s in 2018. At the time, they were in Miami at the penthouse suite at the One Hotel. She says they allegedly did ketamine for eight hours. Afterward, she left and decided to stop her drug use. She reportedly tattooed the date on her neck as a “commitment to get sober and not go back.” Afterward, she says, her relationship with Cassie became “sporadic.”

Diddy Trial W4, Day 16: Bryana Bongolan Says A Producer Reached Out To Settle After She Sued Diddy
In her continued direct examination, Bryana Bongolan said she spoke to Cassie again after the singer sued Diddy in 2023. At the time, she told Ventura that details about the balcony incident were wrong. Regarding the incident, she confirmed she still experiences nightmares and paranoia, and still sometimes screams in her sleep.
In January 2024, Bongolan said she hired Attorney Tyrone Blackburn to represent her for a monetary demand from Combs. She fired Blackburn after discovering he had included incorrect information in the demand’s paperwork.
Early in 2024, Bongolan testified that a producer named Rob Holladay, her former friend, reached out to her. She said he was calling from what looked like Diddy’s backyard at his Los Angeles home. He spoke of “settling” with Bryana. Nothing came from the convo, and a month or two after, Bryana said her current lawyer helped her file a new $10 million lawsuit against Diddy. Why? She says she “wanted to seek justice for what happened” to her.
Despite the pending lawsuit, she clarified that she is not expecting payment for her testimony. Direct examination ended there, and cross began.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 16: By: Bongolan Testifies About Drug Use With Cassie During Cross-Examination
Defense Attorney Nicole Westmoreland kicked off Bryana Bongolan’s cross-examination. The witness confirmed that she and Cassie spent most of their time getting high and that Cas liked it. At Westmoreland’s prompt, she also said they “had a problem” regarding the drug use.
Additionally, Bryana also said that she and Cas did drugs together before she met Diddy. She testified about meeting Diddy in 2016 at a dinner at his home. She had attended as Cassie’s guest and described Combs as being standoffish with her.
In response to more questions, Bongolan said she’s still friends with Cassie and Deonte Nash, who testified last week. However, she clarified that she hasn’t spoken with either of them about trial testimonies. Again, she affirmed that she hired a lawyer to sue Combs and that her lawyers have acted on her behalf, per CNN. She said she didn’t tell anyone about her own lawsuit.
Bongolan also said she spoke to Cassie before and after the singer sued Diddy in November 2024. She said she declined Cas’ request to name her in the balcony incident.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 16: Defense Casts Doubt On Bongolan's Recollections & Memory
As cross-examination continued, Attorney Westmoreland pressed Bongolan about her direct testimony regarding the knife incident. On the stand, she told the defense that she doesn’t remember previously telling prosecutors about knife fights between the couple. However, Bongolan also said she’s standing by her recollections during today’s testimony. She confirmed she doesn’t know how or where Combs got the knife he threw in the incident she described to prosecutors on the stand.
Westmoreland clapped back by again testing the witness’s recollections. The attorney said the witness did not tell prosecutors that Combs told her “I could kill you” and that she initially said the balcony incident happened at a party, not a photoshoot. Regarding both, Bongolan said she couldn’t remember when she told prosecutors about the killing line or whether she was specific about where the balcony incident happened.
Westmoreland also said the witness’ first demand letter to Diddy stated that he threatened her life during the balcony incident. Again, the witness said the letter did not feature her words and that she fired her attorney afterward.

Diddy Trial W4, Day 16: Court Ends For The Day, Next Witness Discussed
The judge dismissed the jury for the day shortly afterward. Bryana Bongolan will resume the stand on day 17 for another hour or so of cross-examination.
Before leaving the courthouse, both parties discussed tomorrow’s instructions regarding a witness who will testify under the pseudonym “Jane.” The judge said he’d remind the court of the pseudonym order before the court resumes on Thursday. Meanwhile, prosecutors expressed concern about being behind schedule with testimony from “Jane,” who is scheduled for an international flight next Thursday. The judge agreed to allow the jury to stay past 4 p.m. ET for some days while “Jane” is on the stand. However, that won’t include tomorrow due to a scheduling conflict.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: Bryana Bongolan Returns To The Stand For Continued Cross-Exam., Questioned About Drug Use & Relationship With Cassie After Alleged Diddy Threat
As the cross-examination resumed, Bongolan was shown photos of images with drugs she sent Cassie a month after allegedly being threatened by Diddy. Bongolan confirmed that the images were, in fact, of drugs. However, she said she couldn’t remember what substances exactly. Additionally, she confirmed that at that time, she and Cassie continued their friendship normally, despite her allegedly being threatened by Diddy.
On one occasion, Diddy messaged Bongolan about using “k” with Cassie. He reportedly noted that “friends should try to stop each other from making mistakes when they get high together.”
“If you’re gonna do k with her at least have her back,” he wrote.
When asked if she believed Diddy wanted her to stop using drugs with Cassie, Bongolan said she “can’t speak for him.”

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: Defense Grills Bryana Bongolan On Balcony Incident & Aftermath
At this point, the defense then questioned Bongolan again about the balcony incident, asking if Cassie witnessed the ordeal. In response, Bongolan explained that she heard Cassie’s voice while she was allegedly being dangled from the 17-story floor by Diddy. However, she couldn’t say for certain what Cassie saw.
In response, the defense told Bongolan that she had mentioned to prosecutors several times that Cassie indeed saw the incident.
“I spoke to them, but again, I don’t recall,” Bongolan testified.
Furthermore, Bongolan reiterated that after the incident, she kept her “distance” from Diddy. The following month, however, she noted going to one of his concerts, but said, “I don’t think I was around him most of the time.”
In addition, the following day, she attended a club Diddy rented out. When asked if she wore her neck brace, she said, “I probably should have but didn’t.”

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: Defenses Pokes Major Hole In Alleged Balcony Incident
Defense attorney Nicole Westmoreland then told the court that the balcony incident couldn’t have taken place in September 2016. At the time, Diddy and Cassie were allegedly traveling on the East Coast for the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour. On September 25, 2016, the pair were in New Jersey and then in New York City the following day.
While on the stand, Bongolan noted that she took a photo of her injuries the day after the incident — on September 26, 2016.
However, receipts reportedly show that Diddy dined in New York City between September 25, 2016, and September 26, 2016. Furthermore, his hotel receipts showed check-in and check-out dates that aligned with September 24, 2016, to September 29, 2016.
“You agree that one person can’t be in two places at the same time,” Westmoreland asked Bongolan.
She responded with:
“In theory, ‘yeah,’ … I can’t answer that one.”
At that point, the defense asked Bongolan if she was lying to the jury, saying, “Mr. Combs did not cause you the injuries that you showed us that we saw on your phone with the metadata from September 26, 2016.”
“I can’t agree with you,” Bongolan responded.
Furthermore, Bongolan noted speaking with Cassie after her November 2023 lawsuit was filed against Diddy, noting the balcony incident with Bongolan. Bongolan told Cassie that some details the singer included were incorrect. But she noted explaining to Cassie “exactly what happened.”
“I will never forget him holding me on that balcony,” Bongolan reiterated to the court.
When asked if she knows the exact date of the incident, Bongolan said no.
“Because it was a while ago,” she said. “[But] I have no doubt [it occurred].”

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: Prosecution Shoots Back At Liar Narrative, Enrique Santos Takes The Stand
When the court resumed after lunch, the prosecution reviewed a screenshot of texts between Kristina Khorram, Diddy, and Cassie.
“I just found out some crazy sh*t. He came into my house while my friends were here and we were all sleeping and they woke me up because he was ringing the bell crazy at 3 a m. and when he came in I went to my room and he went at Bona choked her and then dangled her feet off the balcony. Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: "Jane" Takes Stand, Details Romance With Diddy
The third sexual assault accuser of Diddy has now taken the stand, testifying under a pseudonym. The jury will learn the woman’s identity. However, it will not be publicly shared. Furthermore, Jane shared that she dated Diddy between 2021 to 2024. “Sean, baby, Ernie, and snookums,” were just some of the nicknames she used for him.
She reportedly met Diddy during a girls’ trip to Miami in late 2020. She says Diddy was romantically involved with a friend of hers who was also on the trip, and added that she met Combs at a party he hosted at his home. The trip was about five days, and she remembers seeing Diddy for about three days.
“He was really charming, really nice, and I was already drawn to him pretty instantly,” she said. “There was a little bit of flirting going on.”
On the last day of the trip, the group was watching a movie together when Diddy texted Jane to ask her out. She noted feeling hesitant due to her friend’s involvement with Diddy. But when her friend got engaged, she decided to move forward.

“Jane” says she and Diddy used the nicknames “Bert” and “Ernie” as each other’s contact names. During the 2020 trip, she reportedly saw Diddy get a “pink powder” to give to another female friend.
“Yeah, it’s the best,” he told her.
Instead of staying at the location, she reportedly left due to her friend becoming skeptical of her relationship with Diddy.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: "Jane" Recalls First Date With Diddy
Jane saw Diddy again in January 2021 in Miami. Their first date was dinner on a hotel’s balcony, and their time together lasted five days. During the date, they spoke about the father of her child — who Diddy did not get along with. Furthermore, they discussed how Jane dated a close friend of Diddy’s. However, he expressed that he did not care. During the first night, they “made lots of love,” and then spent the trip getting to know each other.
In February 2021, they went on another trip together.
“I told him that my birthday was coming up and he was super excited and said we should go on an island getaway,” Jane told the court.
They reportedly went to Turks and Caicos and then the Bahamas for about 15 days.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: "Jane" Says Diddy Gave Her Ecstasy 10 Times On Trip, Admits To Agreeing To Secret Romance
Under direct examination, Jane said she remembers “so many lovely things” about the Caribbean trip. She mentioned that Diddy’s former assistant, Kristina Khorram, a chef, a photographer, a butler, and a barber, accompanied them.
The first time Diddy allegedly offered her ecstasy was while they were in a pool. Shortly after taking the ecstasy, she reacted by falling to the sand. She testified that KK (the assistant) and the butler attempted to help her. Before then, Jane said she had only used drugs twice in her life. By the end of the trip, she admitted to having ecstasy at least 10 times, with Diddy offering the drug and determining the dose every time. She said it made her feel “relaxed, euphoric, sexual,” enhancing touch and their flirtatious vibes.
At the end of the vacation, Jane alleges Diddy wired her $10,000 due to her lack of work as an influencer. By then, the influencer said she was “even deeper” in her feelings for Combs, and recalled that they had begun using the word “love.” She admitted that Combs told her he was also seeing other women and that she didn’t believe monogamy was an option with him.
“I liked him, and so I was OK with it,” Jane said. Later adding, “In my heart, I just wanted to see Sean, so I was monogamous.”
When they first met, Jane said she lived on the East Coast but relocated to California in June 2021. Despite keeping their relationship private, Jane said Combs gave her $6,000 for a moving truck, and sometimes gave her “just because” money. She added that she visited Diddy every other week in Miami between February and May 2021.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: "Jane" Testifies About First Time Diddy Proposed "Freak Off"
Jane also opened up about her sexual relationship with Diddy between 2021 and 2024. She said he offered her drugs when they had intercourse, including ecstasy, molly, cocaine, and ketamine. He also had specific preferences, including that she wear “provocative lingerie and really high stripper shoes.”
“I learned how he liked to have pornography playing. I learned how he preferred me to dress, and I just learned the things that he liked sexually,” Jane said on the stand.
During this time, Jane said she loved the sexual encounters with Diddy, which could sometimes last between 12 and 24 hours. She said she “really loved” Combs and made love with him, which included “lots of affection and kissing and lovemaking.”
“It felt like Sean was really passionate, and he brought out a lot of passion out of me too,” Jane testified. “And the way he would compliment me and be so into me and just really like enjoying one another.”
Then, in May 2021, Jane said Combs asked her to fantasize about having sex with another man. It was her introduction to what Cassie previously described on the stand as “freak offs.” By that point, Jane claimed they had been having sex, taking drugs, and lying awake in his room for hours. She replied, “Okay,” to play into the fantasy, not thinking it would happen that same day. In response, though, Combs allegedly got on his phone, promising it could happen that night. Despite being shocked, again Jane replied, “Okay.”
Later that evening, they were in a hotel suite, and Jane said Diddy’s assistants were buzzing around, preparing it with red lights. A man later showed up, and Combs introduced him as Don from the service Cowboys for Angels. Jane testified that she eventually had sex with Don while Diddy watched, and then slept with Combs too, after Don left. The sentiment afterward was happiness, and Jane said they went to a yacht party the next day.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: Jane Says "Freak Offs" Became "Too Much" After The First Time, Diddy Made Threats After She Complained
After the first “freak off,” Jane said she felt “excited…happy” about the “taboo” experience with her partner. She believed it was a one-time thing that could happen again. Instead, Jane said the encounter “set the tone” for the rest of their relationship. It “opened like a Pandora’s box in the relationship.” She said she was unable to shut the door afterward. USDA Maurene Comey asked why she wanted to shut the door, and Jane replied: “There was so much of it after, and it was too much of it.”
About 90% of their sexual encounters after the first “freak off” involved other men, she said, particularly between May 2021 and October 2023. Combs called them “hotel nights” or “debauchery.”
“I feared losing him. I just wanted to be everything that he wanted,” she testified.
Additionally, Jane said she was truly only interested in having sex with Diddy, not other men. But when she brought that up to Combs verbally and in writing, he was allegedly dismissive or called her “crazy”, or things would become “uncomfortable.” She said she could feel tension building, and often pushed down her planned comments. Jane said that when he agreed to stop involving other men, his promise wouldn’t last.
Combs also allegedly threatened to stop paying her rent, suggesting Jane wanted to break up. She testified that she did not want to break up, but didn’t want to sleep with other men and felt “frustrated” and forced to “perform these nights for him.”
The sexual meet-ups with other men also became unpredictable, giving her little to no notice. She said she attempted to stay ready with straight hair, light-colored nails, and arrangements for proper childcare. They took a break from dating between October 2023 and February 2024.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 17: Relationship With Diddy Harmed Her Income, Jane Says
In continued testimony, Jane said dating Combs impacted her income and ability to work as she was “consumed” by him, and his last-minute requests to link. Diddy only periodically offered her money, in amounts of $5,000 to $10,000 in cash and larger amounts through wires. Jane said that the most he had ever given her at once was $20,000. She added that Combs told her to hold on, starting an OnlyFans featuring content like bikini, lingerie, and nude photos.
After a huge fight, Jane testified that Diddy verbally agreed to an allowance of $10,000 a month for her to spend on a nice home. He suggested he’d pay the rent rather than give her the money directly. Prosecution showed the jury an email from Diddy’s accountant to Jane and her landlord.
“I just wanted to experience something that was nice, just so I could feel some sort of balance in our relationship,” Jane said on the stand.
The testimony circled back to the “hotel nights” with other men. Jane testified that the encounters happened in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, and Turks & Caicos. Diddy’s former chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, his travel agent, or his assistants usually arranged her travel, which he paid for. She said the hotel nights had a pattern of set-up with red lights, music, bed sheets and blankets everywhere for “the obsessive use of baby oil.” She testified that hotel nights usually featured more than two dozen baby oil bottles.

Diddy Trial Week 4, Day 18: Jane Emotionally Recalls Details From "Hotel Nights" With Diddy
On Friday (June 6), Jane emotionally described “hotel” nights with Diddy. Much of her testimony mirrors what Cassie told jurors during week one about the “freak offs” encounters with other men. Both women engaged in sexual acts with male entertainers in hotel rooms in cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. She testified to consuming a plethora of drugs Diddy provided ahead of and throughout the sexual encounters. The “hotel nights,” Jane said, took place between 2021 and 2024 and could sometimes last hours.
