The music mogul, who’s tangled up in a sex trafficking and racketeering trial brought along by Cassie’s civil lawsuit, is facing life in prison if found guilty of his crimes. Trump Dishes On A Possible Diddy Pardon
Trump’s second term in office has brought along many pardons in the past few weeks. From freeing former Chicago gang leader Larry Hoover to NBA YoungBoy and even reality TV’s Todd and Julie Chrisley, Trump’s been clearing slates left and right to those he believes were unfairly targeted or prosecuted. So, when Fox News’ Peter Doocy stepped up to the press conference on May 30 and asked if Trump would consider pardoning Diddy, the room got real quiet, y’all.
As you know, Diddy’s currently on trial in a Manhattan federal court, facing five charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force. Doocy brought up Trump’s 2012 shoutout, calling Diddy a “good friend” before asking, “Would you ever consider pardoning him?”

Trump hit back with, “Nobody’s asked. You had to be the one to ask, Peter. I know people are thinking about it.” He admitted he hasn’t been following Diddy’s trial closely, but he knows it has had the media in a frenzy over the past few weeks. “First of all, I’d look at what’s happening,” he said, leaving the door open for a possible clemency move.
Trump Also Opened Up About His Former Ties With Diddy
The president didn’t shy away from reminiscing about their once-tight bond. “I haven’t seen him, I haven’t spoken to him in years,” he shared. Apparently, Diddy was all about Trump back in the day, but things went left when Trump jumped into politics. “He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics, that relationship sort of busted up,” he said.
He even heard Diddy previously throwing some shade his way in the press, calling them “nasty statements” that appeared to have left the president feeling a little taken aback. But Trump made it clear he’s not here for the popularity contest. “If I think somebody was being mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact,” he declared. So, whether Diddy’s Team Trump or not, the president says he’d consider a pardon if the facts show Diddy’s been done dirty.
