On Monday, the federal indictment stated that they charged Rondo, real name Tyquian Terrel Bowman, with conspiracy to possess and distribute controlled substances, including fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana, per WJCL.

On Tuesday (November 13), the ‘I Remember’ artist came face-to-face with the judge in a Georgia courtroom, with his attorney, Kimberly Copeland, reportedly entering a ‘not guilty’ plea on his behalf.

Reports claim Rondo could face up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.

A Timeline Of Quando Rondo’s Legal Problems

The 24-year-old faces another federal case, as the Chatham County Superior Court indicted him and 19 other associates in June, per XXL. Accusations labeled Rondo as the leader of a street gang named the Rollin’ 60s and that he allegedly conspired to sell marijuana and opioid pills.

In July, Rondo found himself in yet another legal dispute after a high-speed chase that caused a severe car crash, per WSB-TV. The heavy impact reportedly necessitated an immediate rush to the hospital for the rapper.

Prosecutors, who filed a motion to have his bond revoked following his hospitalization, alleged that the incident stemmed from an overdose and that paramedics had to administer Narcan. Once the staff started treating his injuries, Rondo allegedly became “belligerent” with them and had to be sedated.

The court document read, “[Quando] was subsequently transported to [Memorial Health University Medical Center] where he became belligerent with hospital staff and ultimately had to be sedated. As a result of this incident, the Defendant is being charged with a number of traffic offenses.”

Shortly after that, prosecutors alleged Rondo’s involvement in a shootout between two groups in September. They filed another motion to ban him from Chatham County, GA, arguing that the community’s safety was at risk due to several recent incidents involving the rapper, per WSB-TV.

However, since there was no evidence to prove Quando Rondo’s involvement in the shooting, even though he was allegedly present, Judge Tammy Stokes denied the motion.
