One thing about Derrick Jaxn, he gon’ find a way to contradict his job title! This past weekend, the relationship coach announced he’s back on the market after he was allegedly caught boo’ed up with another woman.
His divorce announcement comes less than two years after he confessed to cheating on his now-estranged wife Da’Naia Jackson.
He started the social media drop by saying his family has been “through many changes” in the last few months. The post included a photo of the former couple smiling as Derrick lifts Da’Naia in his arms.
“Earlier this year, after much prayer, counseling, and deep consideration, we decided to go our separate ways and filed for divorce,” Derrick said. “Making the decision to file was one of the hardest decisions of my life, but I’ve found peace knowing that our mission of raising healthy children, starting with healthy and whole parents is still being accomplished.”
Derrick failed to mention when exactly they filed the divorce papers or whether it’s been finalized. However, as mentioned, his post was made after Tasha K exposed footage of Derrick spending time with a woman named Pinky Love. The Shade Room cannot confirm Jaxn and the woman pictured are romantically involved, but Tasha’s video is available below.
Da’Naia Jackson Silent Amid Divorce Just One Month After She Cursed Anyone Speaking Ill On Her And Derrick
Da’Naia has not publicly reacted to Derrick’s announcement. Last month, she took to Instagram to curse anyone, in the Lord’s name, who spoke ill of her or Derrick.
“Every person speaking against the names Da’Naia Jackson and Derrick Jaxn in mockery, accusations, slanders, and lies, may the mercies of God be withdrawn from you. May your husbands and wives become widows. Let your children become fatherless, let your seed become vagabonds on the Earth. Let the words of your mouth and your words of your hands be returned back to you, let it go down your throat and choke you slowly until your days become few on the Earth. The word of God says touch, not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. You’ve been warned.”
She warned people to keep her and Derrick’s names out of their mouths. But it looks like the only person choked up right now is Da’Naia. As of Monday, her Instagram page was set to private.
In March 2021, Derrick confirmed he stepped out on the marriage in a filmed confession with Da’Naia by his side.
“I want to be clear I’m not talking about just casually kicking it, maybe a lunch or something like that. I’m talking about as serious as sex, sexual flirtation, and meeting up–those type of things,” Derrick Jaxn. “It’s important that I let you know I don’t stand by those actions. I don’t want to encourage anyone to do that. Secondly, I know I can’t build a platform preaching certain things, preaching against certain things and then in my real life live contrary to that.”
Afterward, the innanet had plenty of opinions about her decision to stay and her appearance in the confessional video. She addressed the chit-chat for over six minutes in a video. Da’Naia said Derrick’s cheating was between him and God and that he was lying in the bed he made. She later went viral for addressing her bonnet as a “helmet of salvation.”
Derrick ended his divorce announcement with:
“From falling in love as just teenagers, to becoming spouses and now co-parents, I’m grateful for the years we’ve spent together and wouldn’t trade them for anything. I was blessed to have such an amazing person in my life and will forever be thankful for all she’s meant to our family,” Jaxn wrote. “We ask that if you pray, to please pray for us as we navigate this grieving process. If not, please respect our privacy.”
