Rihanna Explains What Surprised Her The Most About Seeing A$AP Rocky As A Dad

That’s her man, and she gon’ stick beside him! Rihanna recently shared a heartwarming red carpet moment with Scott Evans. The mother of two gushed about motherhood, her kids, and why seeing A$AP Rocky as a dad is a “turn-on” for her.

In the short Access Hollywood chat, Evans asked Rihanna to compare how she imagined her family to what it’s like now. The ‘Umbrella’ singer made it clear that she had no idea what she pictured but shared her hopes.

“No, you don’t have an idea. I hoped I could have kids one day and I hoped I could have them in love and I hoped I can be a part of a family that breaks generational curses and just like moves forward and does new things and raises our kids better…all the beautiful things.”

And her Navy fans can rest easy because it seems like those hopes are being met! Even Rihanna herself is still in disbelief.

She said, And it’s happening, and I can’t believe it. The only thing I imagined was probably the forehead on RZA.”

As mentioned, Rihanna and Rocky have two children, RZA and Riot Rose. The couple went viral in September after sharing a first look at Rose with a family-of-four photoshoot.

A$AP Rocky In Daddy Mode Hits Different For Rihanna

After cracking her lil’ jokey joke about RZA, Evans followed up by asking her the most surprising part about seeing her best friend be a dad.

And Rihanna gave fans an equal part “awwww” and “okay then, sis” moment with her answer!

“I love him differently as a dad. This is major, major…it’s a turn-on,” Rihanna said. “What a leader, what a great patient, loving and my kids are obsessed with him. I’m just a background, I’m just an extra.”

Rih and Rocky haven’t been shy about expressing their love for one another in the media, despite how private their family life is.

In 2021, Rocky told GQ that the “Rude Boy” singer was the “love of [his] life,” calling her the “one.” The following year, he made his directorial debut with a video montage dedicated to his now-children’s mother.

Meanwhile, Rihanna told Vogue in 2022 that they grew closer after taking a road trip together in the summer of 2020. The experience, she said, made her realize she could “do any part of life by his side.”
