Angela White, Formerly Known As Blac Chyna, Details Prenup Decision Wit Derrick Milano
On Tuesday, November 19, a new episode of Angela Yee’s podcast ‘Lip Service’ was released via YouTube. At some point in the conversation, White and Milano were asked to share if they were planning on getting a prenup amid tying the knot.
In response, White repeated the word seemingly as a question for Milano.
“Prenup?” she said.
Then, Milano shared his thoughts.
“Well, you know what? I’m not against it. I’m not opposed to it,” Milano said, shrugging. “I mean, ’cause she has a lot of stuff already. She got her cars like that’s hers. She got her sprinter that’s hers. She has her house that’s hers. I have my stuff, that’s mine.”
Despite this, Milano went on to explain that he’s not pressed for them to sign a prenup. At that point, White chimed in firmly.
“There won’t be a prenup,” she said.
Check out how their conversation continued and the couple’s reason for their decision below.
Social Media Weighs In
Social media users shared mixed reactions to White and Milano’s apparent decision in The Shade Room’s comment section.
Instagram user @_suckafreesi wrote, “Alright Angela, put Chyna on the phone real quick I gotta talk to her ”
While Instagram user @brianraynard added, “Girl stop playin and get a prenup! The end.”
Instagram user @breakuplawyer wrote, “We hope that we wont get into a car accident, but we keep insurance on our vehicles just in case. Prenups are like insurance for your marriage, just in case something happens and you end up at my table. And you dont have to be rich to get a prenuptial agreement drafted either. I hope she reconsiders. ”
While Instagram user @niknikcourtney added, “Yall so used to seeing your own families fail in relationships & yourself and surroundings that you cant even be happy for others that feel so strong in theirs. Sad. Rooting for all successful love and marriages & clearly what they got going on, is something yall dont understand”
Instagram user @jameshilltv wrote, “As long as she has more money than him I’m happy to hear this ”
While Instagram user @supremecourtmovess added, “Men get really petty during divorces atleast from what Ive witnessed she better protect her self !”
Instagram user @nekseyes wrote, “Idk. The way he put out his hand to her after she said that tells me that hes in it for real. He’s clearly happy to be on a team with her. . . God be the glory!”
While Instagram user @jaylittlelisa wrote, “Whatever was yours before marriage is yours, as individuals. Whatever is created, made, acquired within the marriage is yalls, the union. Prenups are for protection, divorce on the table or not. Protect your individual assets. Anything can be put in a prenup, hell, ensuring your dog remains with you can be added lmao. Idk why folks have made prenups a negative situation.”
Outside Of Angela White & Derrick Milano, Some Other Celebs Have Made Recently Headlines With Their Stance On Prenups
Angela White, formerly known as Blac Chyna, and Derrick Milano aren’t the only celebrities who have prompted headlines around prenups recently. As The Shade Room previously reported, in June, Rachel Lindsay reflected on her decision to opt out of a prenup with Bryan Abasolo.
“The reason I didnt [get a prenup] is because the place Im in now financially is totally different than when I got married. We were more level, and I wasnt living in California,” she explained while appearing on the ‘Hidden Gems With Natasha Parker.’ “We werent on the same page with prenups, and I didnt want it to be a bigger issue. So we didnt have one. [But] hindsight is 20/20, I would have done it [now].”
Most recently, Trina turned heads after sharing why she opted out of a prenup with her husband, Benjamin Kearse Jr.
