Young Thug has shared his first message on X (formerly Twitter) after his release from jail.

Young Thug Shares First Message Since Prison Release
On Thursday, Oct. 31, TSR reported that Thugger accepted a non-negotiated plea deal, pleading guilty to six counts in his YSL RICO case. Prosecutors had pushed for 25 years in prison with 20 years on probation. Instead, the judge sentenced him to 40 years, with five years in prison counted as time served, followed by 15 years of probation.
Late on Saturday, November 2, Thug hopped on X with a message that read, “Real plea deal jack!” Social media instantly assumed he was talking about his release.
That post stood solo until Sunday, November 3, when he jumped back on and wrote, “Wham let’s drop one on these rats peter.”
Young Thug may have just dropped his first official message since getting out, but it wasn’t his first time posting on X. Back on Oct. 18, while still locked up, the Atlanta emcee jumped on the platform, encouraging Drake, Future, and Metro Boomin to put an end to their beef. Future even reposted it, leading fans to believe he was down for the reconciliation.

Thugger Receives Heartfelt Welcome Back
Since his release on Oct. 31, Young Thug has been met with a warm welcome. A now-viral video shows him answering a FaceTime call from T.I., with both rappers smiling at the camera as a group behind Tip cheers. According to TSR, a woman named Dominique Perry shared on Instagram that she filmed the video while T.I. took a break from directing a movie.
